Lissy is a family nickname for Elizabeth. Since Elizabeth is a very popular name, I decided to use my childhood nickname as a pen name. I also like to stand out from the crowd, and have the spotlight all to myself sometimes, hahaha. More importantly, it’s a way to stay connected to my family even when we are miles apart.
