Hi, I’m Lissy! I’ve been teaching preschool for 20 years. Anyone who has worked with me knows that I have been pushing for better representation in our classrooms. Just because we teach tiny humans, that doesn’t mean they deserve less than everyone else. Preschoolers love learning about new cultures (especially when food is involved), they love hearing stories about other kids, and, most importantly, they love seeing themselves represented in media.

For years I have been seeking out diverse voices to share their stories with children. Now, it’s time for me to share my stories.
